Ketan Parekh joined Witness Systems in December 2005 and serves as Country Manager for India. Leading the company's Bangalore-based engineering operation, he is focused on high performance product development and delivery, and ensuring operational synergies that align the development centre's R&D functions with their sales and service counterparts.

Professional History
With more than 16 years in software engineering and development, Ketan's management background includes successfully building early-stage development operations and working in a distributed R&D environment in India with U.S.-based companies. With leadership in running multi-cultural, multi-location and multi-function teams from around the world, he brings a blend of technical, architectural and systems design experience together with product management, software engineering and quality assurance to his position.

Prior to joining Witness Systems, Ketan was head of the offshore development centre for Dover Software India, a subsidiary of U.S.-based diversified industrial manufacturer Dover Corporation. There he headed operations and oversaw all product development and testing. Other roles he has held include positions with Contech Software Ltd., an engineering software services company, and Pima Controls Ltd., a control software engineering company working with Rockwell, Inc.

Education
Ketan holds a Bachelor's of engineering degree from the University of Poona in India.
